In her next story, fans spotted Zverev hugging Nadal on the court after their match. Then, in her third story, Thomolla also added a caption complaining about the wifi connection of the hotel. Thomolla’s story was meant to congratulate her partner on such an epic victory. While this model and actress couldn’t attend the tour with her German ATP star boyfriend due to her work commitments in Thailand, she made sure not to let this moment of celebration slip away with her adorable acknowledgment.

Zverev unleashed his A-game on the 14-time French Open champion and defeated him by  6-3, 7(7)-6(5), and 6-3 in three hours. Following this victory he became the third opponent after Djokovic and Robin Soderling to beat the legendary Mallorcan on Paris’s clay court. It was also Nadal’s fourth loss at Roland Garros in his 19 years of dominance on the tour.

Nevertheless, it was definitely an emotional victory for Zverev as well as he lost to the Mallorcan legend in the French Open 2022 semifinals by 7-6 and 6-6. Zverev had to retire following an ankle injury. Therefore, in a swift attempt, he finally made his luck over the Spaniard.
