Alexander Zverev, the German World No. 3, finished the 2021 tennis season on a high. The 24-year-old defeated Daniil Medvedev in straight sets last month to grab his second ATP Finals trophy in Turin.

There is no doubt that Zverev is hungry for more. His championship-winning game at the Nitto ATP Finals etched his name in elite tennis history. Zverev is the first player since Andre Agassi in 1990 to defeat the top two players in the world in the consecutive semi-final and final tie-ups.

Zverev is certainly enjoying his off-season after a great year. Preparation for the 2022 season is about to begin in Australia. However, he is currently spending time unwinding.

Other players from across the sport are busy playing for their nations in the Davis Cup. However, Zverev decided to skip the tournament in order to relax and recover from a grueling yet successful season.

Alexander Zverev made his first public appearance today with German actress Sophia Thomalla. The two are the talk of the town. Moreover, this was their red carpet debut as a couple, at the ‘Heart for Children’ charity event in Berlin.

‘Sascha’ is definitely enjoying his time in the off-season. However, it doesn’t mean that he isn’t working hard to stay fit or skipping out on training. Even while in the beautiful UNESCO biosphere of Baa Atoll in the Maldive Islands, Zverev has been hard at work.

He has been active on his Instagram, posting images and videos from his training sessions during vacation.
