In the world of tennis, there are instances where things can get heated up between the professionals even when they are not on the tennis court. The same thing happened between tennis legend Boris Becker and Nick Kyrgios. In a recent interview, Kyrgios came ahead and talked about the major difference that he felt separated the two generations of tennis players, back in the days and now.
However, Becker did not seem to get along really well with it as he went ahead and slammed the Aussie international. Amidst the debate, the 28-year-old player came ahead and dragged Alexander Zverev into the debate to prove his worth right to the former German star.

In a recent revelation, things got pretty heated between Nick Kyrgios, Boris Becker, and Alexander Zverev. Becker questioned Kyrgios’s right to talk about tennis because he hasn’t won big championships. But Kyrgios fired back, saying most players also lack those big wins.
He called out Zverev for not winning a major doubles title, challenging Becker’s support for him. Kyrgios didn’t back down, defending his right to speak out about tennis even without a big singles championship. “Basically 99% of the tennis tour doesn’t have credibility then? Potato what about your boy Zverev? No credibilty? He hasn’t even won a doubles grandslam?” said Kyrgios while dragging out Alexander Zverev in his response to Becker.

He further went ahead to add that as compared to today, it is pretty normal for anyone to hit at this pace. Not only this, he also went ahead to add that Novak Djokovic would have eaten legends like Pete Sampras alive as the legends would not have had the answers to the Serbian’s mammoth serves.

“And what would Djokovic do to someone like Sampras? It would be a cleanup. If Hewitt was doing it, Djokovic would destroy him. He would eat him alive,” said Kyrgios, which further became a matter of debate between him and Becker.

“The game was so slow back then.
I’ve watched Boris Becker and I’m not saying they weren’t good in their time, but to say that they would be just as good now, it’s absurd.
