Imagine playing a tennis match for around 4 and a half hours, then coming to a press conference and dealing with a question that you would not have thought of. The same happened with German sensation Alexander Zverev. Currently playing in the Australian Open, Zverev managed to make his way into the third round after a hard-fought 5-set victory over Lukas Klein. However, after an exhausting match, he did not get the reception that he had hoped for.
In the post-match interview, as Zverev stepped in, he encountered an uncomfortable question that he did not want to answer.

After winning a tough match against Lukas Klein, the World No. 6 tennis player was surprised by a reporter’s unexpected question about his upcoming trial. The journalist asked if he plans to go to the trial in person. Alexander Zverev, still catching his breath after a long match, seemed surprised by the question and mentioned it wasn’t what he was expecting to talk about after such a game.
Q: "Regarding your upcoming trial, do you plan to attend in person?"
Zverev: "Wow. That's a question. I just played four hours, 40 minutes. That's not the first question I really want to hear, to be honest. I've got no idea. It's in May."

With the trial set for May, Zverev didn’t give a clear answer about attending in person. “Wow. That’s a question. I just played four hours, 40 minutes. That’s not the first question I really want to hear, to be honest. I’ve got no idea. It’s in May,” said the German while suggesting his honest opinion on the question asked by the reporter.
Prepared to meet the reporters with questions related to his match performance, Zverev had to deal with a discomfiting question. Despite the win here in the second round, Zverev had to pull off a stunner and was fortunate enough to bag a win in his favor. Talking about his opponent, he suggested how Klein played in the match.

After a gripping encounter that lasted more than 4 hours, Alexander Zverev managed to make his way into the third round of the Australian Open. However, he had to bring out his best game in the final set to take the win home. Discussing his opponent, he suggested that throughout the match, he was merely a spectator and was wondering what shots would his opponent play. Whether he’ll miss it or hit a winner.
“I was thinking there’s a Qantas flight at 11 p.m. tonight straight to Dubai and then one to home,” Zverev said. “A lot of the time I was a spectator in the match. I was just witnessing whether he’s going to hit a winner or miss.”
