Today is December 24th and guess what? It’s time to hang our Christmas stockings to let Santa Claus fill those with our gifts on this auspicious Christmas Eve. Tennis players are currently busy spending their time with their families. However, having said that, we must also keep in mind that we’re not too far away from getting things started in the 2025 season. So, needless to mention that their Christmas wishes will definitely consist of achieving their tennis goals in the next season. Recently some tennis influencers tried to predict the wishlist of some of the ATP stars, and guess what? Alexander Zverev looked quite impressed with their attempt!

‘Get Set Tennis’ recently uploaded a hilarious video clip on their IG handle. In that video clip, some of them were seen imitating the ATP stars while making their wish to Santa. It all started with the Greek superstar, Stefanos Tsitsipas. Well, we all know about the love story of ‘Tsitsidosa’, right? Stefanos Tsitsipas and Paula Badosa first met each other in 2020. However, Badosa revealed that it took almost three years for Tsitsipas to make the first move. The two first connected in May 2023 during the Italian Open and ever since then were spotted together multiple times. However, in May 2024, the couple called it quits only to reconnect a few weeks later.

So, considering these ebb and flow, we saw in the video clip, the person who imitated Tsitsipas saying, “Dear Santa, I’d like for Badosa to love me as much I love her.” Then came Carlos Alcaraz’s turn, while imitating Alcaraz he said, “This year I’ve been a very good boy which is a lot.” Further revealing the wishes of the Spaniard, the influencer added, “I want two Grand Slams and only cried once. I’d like Lego, a pirate ship, a sparkling yo-yo tricycle, a giant cookie…” and the list goes on and on! Not only that, we know Carlos Alcaraz is known for his ever-smiling nature and his camaraderie with his peers. In that video clip, the reel Alcaraz was heard saying, “I love everyone to be happy.

After Alcaraz, fans must be wondering about Jannik Sinner. Well, Jannik Sinner has had an outstanding season this year, winning 2 Grand Slam triumphs. However, off-the-court he has faced quite a few troubles in 2024, especially with the doping controversy. What would be his wish to Santa, though? “I’d like one bag of carrots,” said the influencer who imitated the Italian. Sinner’s love of carrots is well known, right? He even has a fan base named ‘Carota Boys’! What else did the reel Jannik Sinner have on his wishlist? The influencer added, “I want more stero…lizer, sterilizer, for my hands, wink, wink!

Not only them, but the video clip also featured the reel versions of Nick Kyrgios, Novak Djokovic, Andrey Rublev, and Alexander Zverev. Kyrgios was spotted asking for a match with Sinner in the first round of the AO. The 24-time Grand Slam champ looked a bit confused initially about what to ask. However, later on, he said, he wants to “destroy Carlos.” Fasten your seatbelts for some exciting matchups between the two in 2025. Rublev (reel) asked for a “scented candle. While the most hilarious one came from Alexander Zverev. While imitating Zverev, he said, “I’ve been accidentally sending my letter to South Pole, huh, one Grand Slam.” After seeing this post the German dropped a comment saying, “That is very well done 👏👏👏👏.”

Alexander Zverev reveals his goals for the 2025 season

Alexander Zverev has played almost 86 matches in the 2024 season. While reflecting on his thoughts on his performance over the last few months, Zverev said, “Everything slipped away from me, and between 2022 and 2023, I wasn’t in contention for anything, just pushing myself to the maximum and working hard to win a major title, which was still far off. I feel like this season I’ve been a contender, and I hope next year will be slightly better so I can continue to perform well. That’s still my goal.

So far, if we take a look at his performance at the major tournaments, his best record at the Grand Slam tournaments came at the 2020 US Open and the 2024 French Open. He reached the finals on both these occasions, but he failed to deliver when it mattered the most. So, improving his performance in these high-stakes contests is definitely going to be at the top of his wishlist, but what else does he want?

In another video, Alexander Zverev stated, “Roland Garros is always marked in my calendar since the injury. I’ve been saying that for the last few years. It’s always, yeah, kind of a big circle around those dates. But for me, it’s no secret, I’m searching for that Grand Slam title. I’m searching for World No. 1. I’m searching for the Grand Slam.” However, he has also mentioned that outside of Roland Garros, the Australian Open title will also be another target for him next year. Do you think Zverev can win the title in Melbourne?
