Each pair of eyes in the tennis world looked for one name in the list of recent tours and ended up disappointed. Rafael Nadal, who is currently reported to be in a resting phase due to his hip injury had to miss several major tournaments this season. With his Grand Slam number currently stuck at 22, the fans are eagerly waiting for him to step back and cover up.

Recent words from him reveal that the “end is near” as the Spaniard prepares for his comeback. As reported by Movistar Tennis, Rafael Nadal stated his future plans as he mentioned, “The 2024 Olympics in Paris [held at RG] would be a nice end to my career if I feel good. My schedule can change if I feel I can have a chance to win at Roland Garros”.

The report clearly acted as an indication that the Spanish Tennis Legend with 22 major titles in his name is all set to step back in the game. Although the reports aren’t clear enough as he sounded a bit dicey, the lines are what the world looks up to currently.

With the 2024 Olympics in Nadal’s mind, the news is no doubt a possible threat to Novak Djokovic’s upcoming plans.
