Novak Djokovic‘s achievements are known to all tennis fans. He is the first name on almost every record book, as he holds the majority of records in men’s tennis. Such an enormous level of success always draws a large fanbase.

Djokovic too, happens to have a large fanbase across the globe. Recently, a particular section of his fanbase received acknowledgment from the Djokovic family itself. The 23-time major champion’s wife, Jelena, lauded the few fans for their constant love and support towards him.

A few Djokovic fans from China held a fan meeting where they celebrated the Serb’s Grand Slam record. They had a huge Novak Djokovic poster and a Serbia flag in the picture. In the background, Djokovic’s Roland Garros semi-final encounter against Carlos Alcaraz was being shown on television.

The Twitter fan account posted a series of pictures and said, “Today, we China Guangzhou nole fans meet and cheer up in the name of Navak 23 Grand Slams, three circles of Grand Slams achievements, look forward to 24 grand slams, look forward to a better Novak !” Jelena was touched by their heartwarming gesture and she acknowledged the fans with a quote tweet that read, “ 👋🏻 So much love ❤️❤️❤️❤️

However, it wasn’t the first time Jelena Djokovic spoke about an individual fan or a particular group. Recently, a well-known member of Djokovic’s fan club passed away and Jelena grieved over her death on Twitter.

Padma Rajan, a renowned member of the Djokovic fan club, lost her life recently. She was also a member and contributor to The Novak Djokovic Foundation (NDF), which is founded by the Serbian tennis legend himself. On her passing, Jelena referred to her as “a beautiful soul. She made her contributions aware to the other Novak Djokovic fans with her tweets. Jelena ended her thread by paying condolences to Padma Rajan and her family.

It was really a great gesture from Jelena to pay respect to one of the biggest Novak Djokovic fans. Goes on to show how the Djokovic family values their fan club.
