The 7-time winner of the ATP Finals always enjoys his time in ‘Bel Paese’. But this time Davide Fiore, the chef and the owner of the restaurant loved by CR7 failed to accommodate him in his restaurant. Casa Fiore is a restaurant known for its exquisite Italian delicacies situated at the center of Turin. Here’s what made the chef upset this time.
“Unfortunately, this year we were full when he called us to make a reservation, I was very sad that I never had him for dinner. Djokovic, however, came in the past, during previous editions of the ATP Finals,” said David Fiore. Cristiano Ronaldo used to visit this place twice a week during his time with Juventus. He had celebrated three of his birthdays here at Casa Fiore.
Being associated with Italy at some point in their lives, both Ronaldo and Djokovic have a sweet spot for this place. Although Ronaldo’s love for Italy might not be too loud, Djokovic’s love for Italy is well-known among sports lovers.

Novak Djokovic had once mentioned that Rome is his second Home. He wasn’t born there, and neither did he grow up in Italy. But he had trained in Italy when he was a teenager and his connection with Italy has been deeper since then. He had learned Italian at the age of 17. Djokovic is quite fluent in that language and frequently speaks with his team members in Italian language.
The Serb often portrays his love for the nation from the Southern part of Europe. He admires Italian food, its history, people, and culture. His admiration is reflected whenever he visits the country. Recently he won the ATP Finals in Turin and hopefully in the future, there will be more moments to cherish for his Italian fans.
