Nick Kyrgios, the Australian tennis star, experienced a rather disappointing return to the grass court yesterday. After a long hiatus from competitive tennis, Kyrgios seemed eager to make his mark on the green turf once again. However, his comeback match did not go according to plan, as he suffered a loss on what can only be described as a tough day on the court.

As Kyrgios and his girlfriend were driving back from the match, he caught her fast asleep in the passenger seat. The long day filled with anticipation and the emotionally draining match had seemingly taken a toll on her as well. The scenario painted a rather comical picture, with Kyrgios appearing bemused by his girlfriend’s slumber.

Nick Kyrgios made a comeback yesterday in the Stuttgart Open. His first match was against Wu Yibing, which he lost in straight sets (7-5 6-3). Despite giving his best efforts, the Australian player could not secure victory. His performance in the match could be attributed to his lengthy absence from the professional tennis circuit.

On the drive back, Kyrgios shared a funny clip of his girlfriend, Costeen Hatzi, sleeping in the car. Along with the picture he also posted, “Not interested unless I make a Grand Slam final”.  This light-hearted approach to setbacks is a testament to Kyrgios’ resilience and optimistic outlook. It demonstrates his readiness to bounce back from defeat and continue striving for success in the highly competitive world of professional tennis.

Kyrgios pacifies fans after losing in his comeback match

After his defeat yesterday, his fans, who were greatly looking forward to the match, were definitely disappointed. But Kyrgios made sure to address his loss to his fans and tried to pacify them. He wanted to let them know that it will take some time for him to be back in shape and get as good as he was before he left.

He tweeted, “Be patient with me my fans please…. It’s a process to get back to where I was. I know it’s hard for you to see me perform like today, but I need more time and hopefully can get back to where I was”.

As of now, he has not announced when and where he might play next or if he may at all. But Nick’s fans are definitely looking forward to seeing him back in action and in his best form ahead of his favorite Grand Slam, the Wimbledon Championships.
