Following his fourth-round rant with the chair umpire, Nick Kyrgios has undoubtedly been experiencing a bad phase in Miami. The Australian player has been fined $35,000 for his on-court misconduct during his fourth-round match against Sinner. Apart from singles, Kyrgios also fell short in the doubles draw, losing in the semifinals.

However, even after having every odd go against him, Kyrgios hasn’t failed to spend the best time in Miami with his girlfriend, Costeen Hatzi. Yesterday, 31st March, Kyrgios took to his Instagram uploading a series of stories. In the stories, Costeen was seen trying her hands at tennis, on the hard courts of Miami.

All the stories were a reshare of Costeen’s Instagram story. In the first story, Kyrgios introduced his girlfriend Costeen and her hitting partner. In the following story, Costeen started a point with a service, to which Kyrigos exclaimed, “A pretty good serve.” Going further, Kyrgios introduced Costeen saying, “Costeen Hatzi, known for her mental anger management issues and her over-celebrating.”
The third story started with Costeen indulging in a midcourt rally, with Kyrgios filming her from behind. Seeing Costeen indulge in the rally, an excited Kyrgios said, “Here’s filming Costeen. Good. Well done. This is a rally.”
In the last story, Costeen enacted Kyrgios’s racquet-breaking moments, gathering loud laughs from around the court. Taking people’s laughs in the most humorous way possible, Kyrgios said, “That one’s so funny. I don’t laugh so hard. Don’t laugh too hard.”

After suffering a quarterfinal loss to Rafael Nadal in the quarterfinals of Indian Wells, Kyrgios next entered the Miami Open, in the hope to get better. Entering the tournament as a wildcard, he started his tournament campaign by beating Adrian Mannarino in the first round. Looking in strong form, he further went on to beat 5th seeded Andrey Rublev in the second round.

Having a massive confidence boost with his second-round win, Kyrgios next played Italy’s Fabio Fognini, beating him in straight sets. Being high on spirit, he next entered the fourth round, facing the 9th seeded Jannik Sinner. However, following his spat with the chair umpire, Kyrgios was first given a point penalty, followed by a game penalty. Not being able to revive himself mentally, the 26-year-old Australian was outplayed by Sinner 6-7, 6-3.
