World No.2 Daniil Medvedev had a brilliant 2021 tennis season. Even though he recently finished as the runner-up at both the ATP Finals 2021 and the Paris Masters 2021, the Russian emerged as the champion of the US Open 2021 and denied the Calendar Slam to Novak Djokovic.
Daniil Medvedev also achieved a significant feat this year. He became the first Russian player to end the year as the World No.2 since his idol, Marat Safin, did the same in 2000. However, he recently showed a different side of himself to the world in a shoot for Tatler Russia.

Recently, Medvedev featured on the cover page of the latest edition of renowned magazine, Tatler Russia, along with his wife, Daria Medvedev. The couple did a luxurious photoshoot in which the Russian player wore a stunning black tuxedo along with black shoes, while his wife, Daria, can be seen wearing a beautiful coat. In the cover photograph, while Medvedev is sitting on a red couch, Daria is standing alongside him.

Even though the magazine largely covers issues like politics and health, it also deals with lifestyle and fashion. As a result, it decided to feature the World No.2 player along with his wife. Interestingly, even Medvedev shared some pictures of his photoshoot on his Instagram handle.

Medvedev will lead Team Russia at the Davis Cup Finals 2021
The 2021 season is still not over for Medvedev as he will be leading Team Russia at the Davis Cup Finals 2021. The tournament will begin on November 25, 2021 and will extend till December 5, 2021.

Russia is in Group A of the Davis Cup Finals and thus, will face the defending champions, Spain, on their path to the quarter-finals. However, in the absence of Rafael Nadal, they have the potential to beat them.
