Taylor Fritz recently took to Twitter to talk about the six goals he set for himself in 2022. He is happy to announce that he has checked out half of them. These three goals were all related to tennis, including making it into the Top 10. The world no.9’s tweet has been a fan favorite since he posted it and has encouraged them to take up achievable goals as well. Recently, Reilly Opelka reposted Taylor’s tweet with a list of his own.
Opelka has posted a hilarious list to face off Fritz’s achievements. This lighthearted Twitter battle between the two has sent fans retweeting their posts with amusement. Opelka’s list is just like Fritz’s- divided into tennis and non-tennis parts. Reilly gets with Fritz, saying he has managed to strike not just half, but all things off his list.

Reilly Opelka has been the king of Twitter controversies in 2022. With the beginning of 2023, Reilly has taken to post much light-hearted and non-controversial tweets.
He posted a funny comeback to Fritz’s 2022 goals. According to Opelka’s list- his “on-court” goals were: to have surgery, break serve 7% of the time, and convert fewer point breaks in masters/slams.

Of course, this list is not real and Opelka is just teasing tennis fans at his own expense. Talking about Opelka’s non-tennis-related goals, he has marked out breaking an 80 in the golf court. Of course, this is only possible for 2% of the world’s best golfers, but Opelka is happy with making it halfway to 40 breaks in a 9-hole game. He has also listed two other things on the list: Masters Apex and Plat in league.

Opelka’s 2023 starts off after an injury-riddled 2022
Opelka’s list of goals for 2022 is done and dusted, albeit ironically. However, the surgery that he mentions on the list has brought up the topic of his discerning hip injury last year. He met with a nasty injury that kept him out of the US Open. Although he got immediate surgery, Opelka fans are still not sure if the injury will affect his form this season.
