World Number 2, Novak Djokovic is living his dream right now. After a controversy-filled 2022, that saw him miss the Australian Open and the US Open, the 23-time Grand Slam champion is back to winning ways. Earlier today, he defeated Italy’s Jannik Sinner to enter the 2023 Wimbledon Championships final. It was a dominating performance by the Serb, who broke hardly any sweat in dispatching his opponent, who is 15 years younger than him. However, one particular moment during the match caused massive drama on social media.
Time and again, Djokovic has come up against a vocal Wimbledon crowd. They haven’t been kind enough to Djokovic, jeering at him during his feisty encounters. However, Djokovic hit back at them today, making a bizarre face.

After winning a wonderful rally during the third set of his semifinal encounter against Jannik Sinner, Djokovic mocked his haters’ tears as he set out a crying action. The video quickly went viral all over the internet, reminding people of his actions four years back. At the 2019 Wimbledon Championships, the former World Number One made a similar gesture at the crowd during the Wimbledon final against Roger Federer. It was on the same day as today, four years back.

That match too went Djokovic’s way, as he prevented his arch-rival Federer from winning another Wimbledon title. It was one of the greatest finals the tournament has witnessed as the Serb won the final set 13-12 to clinch the Wimbledon crown.
Coming to this year’s tournament, Djokovic has been dominant throughout and looks favorite to win the title. The 36-year-old is the defending champion and will look to add his 24th Grand Slam title on Sunday.
