Ohanian further took to his social media to share his opinion about the crypto chain, FTX, which had investors like Naomi Osaka, Tom Brady, and Stephen Curry.

However, the American internet entrepreneur was quite unimpressed with the reasons behind the crypto company’s massive downfall. Ohanian further took to his social media in order to slam the renowned crypto chain that went from industry leader to bankrupt. He stated, “This is not a sorry about crypto, this is a story about what looks to be fraud & theft.”

Other notable figures like the NBA star, Stephen Curry, are associated with FTX. Another prominent figure from the sporting world, Tom Brady, and his ex-wife Gisele Bündchen invested in the crypto company.

A renowned WTA player is also associated with FTX

The former World No 1 tennis player, Naomi Osaka, previously partnered with the popular crypto chain as its brand ambassador. The Japanese star was to receive an equity stake in the company. Additionally, Osaka agreed that her payments were also to be made in cryptocurrency. However, the news of the massive downfall of FTX might affect the agreement.

The 4-time singles Grand Slam champion decided to become a brand ambassador with the objective to increase women’s involvement in the crypto industry. Apart from this, Osaka has been a part of another renowned cryptocurrency platform. The popular NFT platform, co-founded by the NFL star, Tom Brady, has also intrigued Osaka.
