Roger Federer is among the highest paid athletes in the world

Tennis fans will be happy to see the Swiss Maestro stand alongside various other prominent names like NBA star LeBron James, and legendary soccer player Lionel Messi. The former world number one has been endorsing these brands for more than a decade now. Federer’s lump sum from deals alone between June 2016 and June 2017 came out to be almost $65 million. Notably, his total amounted to over $90.6 million for that year, despite missing a lot of time on the court from 2020 to 2021 due to his knee injury.

After considering the severeness of his injuries, the tennis star did his last dance this September at the Laver Cup, alongside his arch-rival and best friend Rafael Nadal. The Spaniard has crossed the Swiss Maestro in terms of the number of Grand Slam titles but is still out of the top 10 list of highest earners.
