However, he still often finds himself intimidated while conversing with the NBA legend. He said, “Why am I so damp?’ and I guess it’s because I was just so f—ing nervous. “

Later, the American tennis player also hailed his compatriot’s incredible prowess and longevity in the basketball community. In the process, Tiafoe revealed how James has often been a major source of inspiration for him.

He said, “When you watch him play, and you see what he’s been able to do — it’s his 20th year in the league — and how he plays at such a high level, and then he says to you that he’s following what you’re doing, after that, it’s just like, ‘Man, let me go and have a good week.'”
