The LA Lakers president, Jeanie Buss, who was once closely associated with the Lakers star player, recently highlighted the fact that the American basketball player at times copied the Chicago Bulls legend’s moves on the basketball court.

Recently, the LA Lakers president in a conversation with the American tennis legend, on the latter’s podcast show Advantages Connors highlighted how the five-time NBA champion was obsessed with the 60-year-old NBA legend in such of way that he tried copying all his moves on the basketball court.

She said, “Really not until Kobe came, was there somebody they really mentioned has been the era parent to MJ, and certainly now when you look and how much Kobe copied Michael’s game, you really see it, And was completely inspired and so what drove Kobe was to be better than Michael. So sometimes it isn’t even playing against each other on the court.”

Moreover, she also added how the obsession to be better than Jordan was making Kobe’s game better. She further emphasized the fact that it was a good personal challenge for the five-time NBA champion. Their relationship was more like a teacher-student relationship. Additionally, as time passed both the NBA legends became brothers.
