After some lackluster campaigns at both the Australian and Dallas Opens, the current number 15 player will mark his participation at the ATP Tour 250 series event in Delray Beach. Now that he has arrived in the popular city in Palm Beach County, the avid NBA fan Frances Tiafoe recently revealed that “he gets to a lot more Miami Heat games.”
In a conversation with The Palm Beach Post, the American tennis star said, “Now that I’m down here, I get to a lot more Miami Heat games.” While talking about his interest in a disparate sport, Tiafoe opened up about how he is a fan of the six-time NBA All-Star Jimmy Butler, but he also supports the Washington Wizards. He said, “Jimmy (Butler) is my guy but I’m a Wizard.”
Aside from the Miami Heat star, the former number 10 player is also a fan of Bradley Beal, who was there in his player’s box during Tiafoe’s phenomenal victory against Andrey Rublev 7-6, 7-6, 6-4 in the 2022 US Open quarterfinals. After celebrating together courtside, Beal also said, “Super excited for him to see how he’s grown. I met him when I got to D.C. He was a little kid coming up trying to make a name for myself and so was I. I can’t be more proud of him.’’
