Ever since losing the Roland Garros final to Novak Djokovic, Casper Ruud has been living his life to the fullest. He skipped the Wimbledon lead ups to attend multiple music concerts. He tried his hand out at golf, which also happens to be his favorite pass time. The Norwegian has now taken a shot at baseball.

While preparing for the upcoming Rogers Cup, Ruud has also looked to explore the city of Toronto. He went to the Toronto Blue Jays game and stepped on the pitch after donning their jersey. The World No.4 also got an opportunity to pitch the ball, which eventually led to a feud between him and a podcast host.

When Ruud’s pitching video was uploaded, it started doing rounds instantly. Fans were surprised as his first-ever pitch turned out to be a legal one. However, a certain podcast host was not quite happy with the pitch. He believed that the ball was not pitched properly.

Being open to constructive criticism, Ruud asked the critic to point out the drawbacks in the throw. The critic pointed out the flaws while also making an offer to help him with baseball in return for some tennis training.

He said, “A little wonky on the take back, Champion. Not bad considering you didn?t grow up playing baseball. We can work on it in a couple weeks in NYC if you like. Conversely, I?d be grateful if you?d take a look at my forehand.

However, the World No, 4 snapped back at the critic. He was unhappy with the initial tweet’s exaggeration and said, “?A little wonky on the take back? and ?cannot throw a ball? are pretty far off each other tho aren?t they? Why do people on this forum exaggerate everything? Very scary trend.

Alongside dragging the critic, Ruud also weighed in on the social media exaggeration, which draws more attention than the facts. It has been a common trend across all the social media applications, and the Norwegian finds it quite bothering. Earlier, Nick Kyrgios had also opened up on the negativities of social media, albeit on a much larger scale. Similarly, Ruud is not pleased by the social media trend where the users tend to exaggerate for more clicks.
