Children of sports professionals often end up in sports themselves. Kobe Bryant’s father, Joe Bryant, was an NBA player. Kasper Schmeichel, the former goalkeeper of Premier League team Leicester City, is the son of Manchester United great Peter Schmeichel. However, the lineage doesn’t always follow the same sport. Andre Agassi’s son, Jaden Gil Agassi, is aiming to keep sports alive in the family, but he wants to be a professional in baseball. He may realize his dream as he recently received a compliment from his father’s ex-coach.
Gilbert worked with Agassi for eight years, from 1994 to 2002. The partnership proved fruitful for Agassi as he won six of his eight major titles with Gilbert. Their work together was so solid that Agassi referred to his coach as “The greatest coach of all time”.
