World No. 2 Daniil Medvedev has been having a lot of success lately. Not only did he win the US Open 2021 for his first Grand Slam, but he also reached the Australian Open 2022 final.
Medvedev came within an inch of becoming the first male player to win their second Grand Slam right after the first. However, Rafael Nadal quashed his hopes to do the same, by making history of his own.
Now, it seems Medvedev is aiming for success off the court and on the racetrack. He is now thinking about joining Formula One for Red Bull Racing!

Daniil Medvedev wants a spot in the Red Bull Racing team
The Russian World No. 2 seems to have found his humor again following his five-set defeat against Rafael Nadal at the Australian Open 2022 final.
Earlier today, a Twitter user shared a mock image of Daniil Medvedev which featured him in a racing suit. The image joked that Medvedev would now sign with the Formula One team, Red Bull Racing.
They broke the news early! @redbullracing….🤷♂️🤷♂️ Who goes @Max33Verstappen or @SChecoPerez?? 🤣👍 (in all seriousness. Respect for all these guys. Was tough today) https://t.co/z9kBdRoflb

Medvedev, who is an avid Formula One fan, reacted to the image in good faith, showcasing his funny side. “They broke the news early!” Medvedev wrote on Twitter. Furthermore, he also asked who he would replace on the Red Bull team.
Then, he also tagged both Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez, the two drivers for Red Bull. Of course, this came after he joined former Formula One driver and compatriot Daniil Kvyat on the racetrack yesterday.
Consequently, Daniil Medvedev acknowledged the effort it takes to race at the highest level. “In all seriousness, respect for all these guys,” Medvedev wrote. He then shared how “it was tough today” when he took a kart for a spin.
