The Miami Grand Prix has become one of the most highly anticipated events in the world. Many famous personalities such as Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, Luis Fonsi, Tom Brady and more went to watch the prestigious event. Roger Federer and Juan Martin Del Potro were other notable figures at the GP. More than their attendance, their embrace during their interaction took the spotlight. 

Roger Federer and Juan Martin Del Potro have been good friends throughout their careers. They have met many times on the court and have battled it out. However, the two have maintained a good bond through their friendship.

Roger Federer and Juan Martin Del Potro were two players who reunited at the venue. Among the horde of fans at the Hard Rock Stadium, they met for a brief moment. Their presence was of no surprise as the two are major F1 fans. 

The video of the endearing moment was shared on Delpo’s Instagram story. The Swiss Maestro and Tower of Tandil embraced as fans surrounded them and clicked their pictures. Along with that, the two shared pleasantries. 

Federer also pointed out where his family was standing, and the two went over to be with them. Federer said, “They are there,” as he looked around to spot his wife and children. Del Potro replied, “Ah, Mirka,” as he spotted Mirka Federer.

Tennis greats in love with another sport

While no one can deny how much Delpo and Fed love tennis, the two have also found space in their heart for the racing contest. At the Spanish GP of last year, Del Potro and Federer were knee-deep in the action. Delpo supported the Mexican racer Sergio Perez and hoped that he would triumph. However, his hopes were dashed as Max Verstappen took the lead and ended up ahead of Perez.

Along with Juan’s support, Federer visited the Mercedes camp to support them through the qualifiers. The Mighty Federer also took a picture with Lewis Hamilton and George Russell. The picture was shared by the 20-time grand slam champion and the Mercedes team on their social media. Although the two tennis players have hung up the racket, they have not ended their love for sports.
