In a recent Twitter video, Jake Paul openly admitted to drinking at nightclubs just seven weeks before his fight against Tommy Fury. This revelation sparked a response from Australian tennis sensation Nick Kyrgios, who shared his own experience of indulging in alcohol before a high-stakes match.

Kyrgios revealed he had consumed alcohol the night before facing Rafael Nadal on Centre Court at Wimbledon. Despite his loss in the match, Kyrgios said it’s not uncommon for athletes to enjoy the nightlife while competing.

Thus, the revelation by Nick Kyrgios suggests that the players can use some unconventional methods to make a balance between their personal and professional lives amid intense situations. While Jake is said to have enjoyed the nightlife 7 weeks before the match, Nick suggests that he was drinking just a few hours before a crucial match.

Nick revealed his chances of sharing a beer with Rafael Nadal

The two faced each other in the second round of Wimbledon back in 2019, where Nick Kyrgios, who was drunk last night came to face Rafael Nadal. Even though he enjoyed his night, the Australian player came in and gave a tough competition to the Spaniard.

Just days before getting into a battle with Rafael Nadal, Nick Kyrgios gave his opinion on whether he would like to have a beer with the 23-time grand slam winner or not. Responding to this, he said that the chances for this to happen are very slim as he does not know him very well.

Nick mentioned that he only knows Rafael Nadal as a professional tennis player and does not know about his off-court personality. Thus, it was hard for him to sit with Rafa and have a beer. “Not sure that me and Rafa could go down to the Dog and Fox and have a beer together,” he said. “I don’t know him at all. I know him as a tennis player.”

Thus, Nick Kyrgios and Rafael Nadal are completely different personalities. While Nick loves enjoying his life to the fullest without thinking much, Rafael Nadal is a bit reserved one who has his sights set in mind.
