Sha’Carri has been seen in a variety of hair colors when she steps on the field. But for her Met Gala 2021 look, she kept her hair an elegant black. The theme of this year’s Met Gala 2021 was “In America: A Lexicon of Fashion.”

Sha’Carri likes to play with her eye makeup and is also known for her big eyelashes as well. In conversation with Vogue, Sha’Carri said, ” You know how they say the eyes are windows to the soul? Well, the lashes are the window wipers.”?

 

American sprinting star’s make-up artist for the event, Sheika Daley opted for a ‘less is more’ make-up look for her. The idea of the makeup look was to play with her eyes while making her look fresh and beautiful.

The American star wore a dress inspired by Phoenix

Richardson wore designer Theophilio’s creation. The dress was a red-orange corset-style top with a black fringe skirt and black bangle, and strappy, thigh-high boots. Interestingly, the dress embraced Richardson’s tattoos as well. Her Met Gala 2021 outfit was inspired by a phoenix showing how Richardson rose from the worst.

An excited Sha’Carri also said she felt like Cinderella. Richardson’s nails weren’t going to be dull as they matched her outfit in white, red, and black color. Sha’Carri entered the Met Gala 2021 with her friend and legendary F1 racer Lewis Hamilton.
