In her finals, she ran a 21.61, giving a tough competition to the world record holder, Florence Delores Griffith Joyner, who ran with the timing of 21.34 seconds. Eventually, the American claimed a bronze medal in her individual event-200m along with a team silver medal for the 4x100m relay at the Summer Games.
