Jordan Amavi has been made the latest signing by Aston Villa FC, who acquired the player from Ligue 1 club Nice recently.
The 21-year-old can make a decent spot for himself in Tim Sherwood’s plans for the team, having also played for France’s U-21 National team. The value of the transfer or the duration of the agreement is undisclosed, but it is estimated to be a 5-year-deal.

“Jordan has been one of the outstanding players in Ligue 1 and can become even better.”
“There were a lot of clubs after him this summer so we are really pleased to welcome him.”
“I’m delighted to have secured the services of someone we consider to be a terrific young player.”
The French side also announced the same through their website, stating:
“An agreement was reached on Saturday for the transfer of Jordan Amavi to Aston Villa.”
“Jordan Amavi did not travel to Belgium on Friday to compete in the second friendly match at Aiglons. While his teammates were on the road to Waregem, the young left-back (21) has gone to England.

The player is very strong when it comes to his defensive duties & taking those runs down the flank which are essential for a fullback. He has flair, likes to play off the ground and provide those long balls which can create a good counter-attack.
He would be a welcome entry into the troubled squad which saw Fabian Delph sign for Manchester City in a sudden turn of events and is almost certain to see Christian Benteke move away to Liverpool.
