Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is the 12 major install in the Assassin franchise. This time, the Assassin’s take a trip to the Dark Ages, showcasing the Viking invasion of Britain. The game has impressed fans with its stunning visuals and immersive storyline. So far, Ubisoft has showcased the official trailer and an extensive gameplay breakdown for Valhalla. Now, the latest trailer reveals more about the protagonist Eivor’s backstory and the origin of the Viking invasion.
The story trailer shows Eivor meeting up with this brother Sigurd. A voice in the background describes ‘Wolf-Kissed’ Eivor as an orphan, poet, and warrior; some unusual traits for a Viking which make him all the more unique. This trailer shows the male Eivor who is a married man.

Eivor and his brother Sigurd plan to invade England in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla
Eivor meets up with his brother in Norway and brings along some friends. They definitely look like people from the Brotherhood, looking to unravel some mysteries. This is where Eivor and Sigurd decide that Norway is no longer safe and the Vikings will have to look for new land as their home.
Their destination: England. From the sons of Ragnar Lothbrok to King Alfred of Wessex, who stands in their way, Britain is not something the Vikings can conquer easily. Unperturbed by the challenges that lie ahead, Eivor is on a mission to find a new home for his people. Take a look at the trailer below to get an idea of what Eivor intends to do.

The stunning visuals, engaging combat, and spine-chilling background make this title one to look out for. The music, especially, reminds one of the Vikings TV series. Ubisoft definitely has something special in store for the fans, and Valhalla has the potential to be one of the top AC games of all time.

Although, the combat mechanics and the game’s graphics were criticized earlier. For instance, the ‘Spartan Kick’ from AC: Odyssey returns as ‘Viking Kick’. A lot of the combat is similar and the graphics did not feel very next-gen according to some unhappy community members. Nevertheless, it is too soon to judge the game as there is definitely more that Valhalla has to offer. The game launches on November 10, along with the Xbox Series X and S.
