In all four years of dating, Alex Rodriguez and Jennifer Lopez had blended their families beautifully. While A-Rod has two girls from his former marriage to Cynthia Scurtis, Lopez has twins from her marriage with Marc Anthony. Later, when an important occasion occurred involving one of A-Rod’s girls, the Hustler’s actress did not shy away from congratulating her. While doing so, she also left a sweet message for the former Yankee’s younger daughter, Ella.

On April 15, 2021, the ex-celeb couple, in a joint statement, announced breaking off their engagement. They’d been in a relationship for four years and engaged for two of them.  Therefore, six days after the breakup, when Alex’s younger daughter Ella turned 13 on April 21, JLo was one of the many people who wished her. She had put on a story on her Instagram with her and had written, “Happy Birthday, Ella Bella.”

The singer with a bitter move had already deleted every single memory of her relationship with Rodriguez from her Instagram. But she remembered to wish Ella on her birthday with an adorable picture with her.

In an exclusive joint statement to Today, the couple announced their breakup after weeks of rumors of them getting separated. The former couple said that they had realized they were better as friends. And that they’d try to continue remaining friends.

They wished each other and their kids the best for the future. With it, they added that they’d keep working on the shared business projects.
