Andy Ruiz Jr is on the lookout for a new head coach. He seems to have zeroed in on one trainer for now.
Andy Ruiz Jr the former unified World Heavyweight Champion has parted ways with his trainer and coach Manny Robles. This happened not that long ago and Ruiz already has his replacement in mind.
Sources have revealed that one of the options Andy Ruiz is now considering is Eddy Reynoso. Eddy Reynoso was awarded and recognized as the trainer of the year, for the year 2019. And Ruiz now wants to add Reynoso to his ensemble.

Eddy Reynoso speaking of the partnership said, “Yes, of course, we are for that, to work [with Ruiz], as long as there is discipline, that there is the order [in his training].” Reynoso doesn’t rule out any possibility of this actually going through.
Eddy Reynoso’s stable has grown considerably and is still expanding. He currently is working with and is the head coach at Canelo Alvarez, Oscar Valdez, Ryan García, Luis Nery and Frank Sanchez, and other camps as well.
Eddy Reynoso said, “We are ready to work with any fighter, and we will see what happens, it would be an honor to also work with the first heavyweight champion that Mexico produced,” Reynoso is currently in Guadalajara, accompanying his family. He traveled to Guadalajara after breaking camp in San Diego that included fighters like Canelo, Nery, and Valdez.
Andy Ruiz Jr. is determined to make a strong comeback
Andy Ruiz faced a lot of criticism after his loss to Anthony Joshua. In their rematch last December at the Diriyah Arena in Saudi Arabia. And in an effort to make sure nothing of that sort ever repeats itself, Ruiz wants to make amends as soon as possible.

Ruiz has recognized his shortcomings against Anthony Joshua. He lacked the discipline and huger he had the first time he fought Joshua. He couldn’t repeat the results he attained the first time around where he forced a stoppage and secured the win over Anthony Joshua.
