Arsenal and Chelsea have been named as two of the top five European clubs in 2015 in terms of their points to game ratio.
The English duo are joined by the usual European powerhouses, who are topping their respective leagues, but which of the Premier League clubs incredibly made top spot and is arguably the form team on the continent for the calendar year?
5) Juventus

Points Per Game: 2.27
It looks as if the Juventus will win a fourth straight Serie A title, and Max Allegri’s first in Turin, after a completely dominant league campaign which currently sees them 15 points clear of nearest rivals Lazio in second place with seven games left.
With the Old Lady set to contest a Champions League semi-final, it’ll be intriguing to see whether the Italians give less importance to their league form now they have a genuine shot at a first European Cup since 2003.
4) ChelseaPoints Per Game: 2.31
There’s no doubting that Chelsea have somewhat tailed off in terms of the style and verve they were flaunting at the beginning of the season. Indeed since their 5-0 smashing of Swansea on 17th January, they’ve yet to win another game by a margin of more than one goal.
Yet it’s not performances that count, but results, and the fact they are still the fourth best team in Europe despite such poor play is the reason they will be Premier League champions for the fourth time.
3) Bayern MunichPoints Per Game: 2.33
The German side showed just how ruthlessly devastating they can be against Porto in the Champions League this week and such domination is profound in the Bundesliga where they sit 12 points clear of their nearest rivals Wolfsburg with only five games remaining.
2) Barcelona
Points Per Game: 2.5
During the early stages of their campaign, it looked like Luis Enrique had bitten off more than he could chew and the big personalities at Barcelona had clashed to create a terrible club atmosphere that began affecting results.
But to their credit these issues have been, if not resolved, firmly put aside and Barcelona are now on the cusp of something special in the Champions League after absolutely demolishing Paris Saint Germain, whilst they also look to have the resilience to keep hold of their current first place in La Liga until the end of the season.

Points Per Game: 2.54
Quite incredibly, the Gunners have amassed the best number of points in their league over any team in Europe in 2015.
But perhaps this isn’t so surprising given the return to fitness of the majority of their squad whilst Arsene Wenger has seemingly found a winning formation he struggled so hard to discover at the beginning of the campaign.

The only negative of this, Arsenal fans will be kicking themselves the team are performing so late in the day, when there was little hope of getting back in a genuine title race, they showed how good they can be.
