Is Valorant getting a new Russian snow map?

The internet sleuths immediately put on their thinking caps and started decoding the tweet. Eventually, they found out that the Russian word in the video translates to ‘five’. This led them to deduce that a 5 map is coming to the game, with its setting in Russia, in snow-like conditions.

This is entirely speculative for now, but could become a reality soon. Some also speculate that this could be hinting towards a new ice-themed battle pass or a new agent. Although, the addition of a 5 map seems more likely considering they need new maps for Valorant Esports.

Moreover, the new agent is already pegged to be a healer, which was discussed by a developer earlier. So it seems rather vague to associate something frosty with healing. The game definitely could do with a new healer to counter Sage, which will make the roster a little more balanced. Read more about the developer discussion here.

In addition to this, the developers also discussed changes made to Valorant’s ranked mode. The latest episode of Dev Diaries featured Joe Zeigler and David Cole speaking about the changes coming to Act 3.

Things already seem pretty exciting for Act 3, as Riot is already addressing player issues and feedback. This is a great sign for the game in the long run and hopefully, the devs will continue to deliver bigger things in the future.
