Call Of Duty Modern Warfare and Warzone are going through some tough times recently. Besides the issue of being plagued with hackers and cheaters, the server is not doing too well. Recently, several pro-gamers raised their complaints. Although, it seems the server problem is prevalent on every device, PS4, Xbox, PC alike.?
Activision Player Support tweeted this the other day?“We’re actively investigating an issue where some players are experiencing extended wait times while matchmaking in lobbies.”?
They also mentioned the fact that they rolled out an initial fix to take care of this. However, it might be a while before we get a permanent solution for this. The matter remains unprecedented as we do not know what is causing this issue. Neither do we have a clue what Activision or Infinity Ward are going to do to fix it.

For weeks players have complained about this issue and even hours after Player Support announcing the fix, it is still going on.

Taking a step back to how this problem began, we would definitely date it back to the update. While most people faced an issue with installing the update on their consoles, it ran smoothly on PC. Not for everyone though, some PC players reported that the update installation was still not working.?

To be honest, to solve a problem, one needs to know the source. The source of the problem is still undefined. Call Of Duty has faced server issues before, matchmaking and queuing is a constant problem in this game. However, all those got fixed in time. It seems as if the game is trying to sort out the cheaters and in this process losing its edge.?
For now, the best we can do is wait for an official response from the developers.?
