Lost Treasures LTM and Town Takeover in Apex Legends
For starters, the Armed and Dangerous limited-time mode makes a comeback. The mode is recognized for its close-range shotgun domination and long-range sniper mastery, but this time, it comes with a couple of twists.
Apart from shotguns and snipers being the only accessible weapons, players will spawn with Evo Armors. All other armors (blue, purple, and red) will be unavailable across the map, meaning players must battle it out to evolve their shields. Hence the name, Armed and Dangerous Evolved.

Moreover, during the LTM, Respawn Beacons will make way for a piece of new machinery, Mobile Respawn Beacons. These new beacons will serve the same purpose as regular beacons, but, are compact enough to call in miniature respawn beacons anywhere on the map.
However, it will work on a first-come-first-serve basis, meaning enemies can utilize the mobile beacons too. For now, these beacons remain exclusive to the LTM until the event ends. Later, it will join the regular in-game loot pool.
The Lost Treasures event will also feature the next Town Takeover. It is dubbed Crypto’s Map Room and will likely occur near Repulsor in Kings Canyon. The event’s trailer showcases Crypto sporting a mustache (new skin), a holographic map of Kings Canyon, and an ultra-modern satellite dish atop the technologically sophisticated map room.
