Mac Beckwith, better known as TSM Albralelie, has been one of the most prominent names in competitive Apex Legends. Apart from securing multiple first-place finishes, he also helped his team to consecutive titles in important tournaments. On October 1, fans were left startled after Albralelie announced his retirement from competitive Apex. He will now focus on content creation and pursue a future in Valorant.
A tweet from TeamSoloMid confirmed that the pro had decided to step down from the upcoming ALGS Autumn Circuit. They thanked him and compiled some of the best moments of their collective journey as a tribute.

To fill in the void left by Albralelie, the esports organization unveiled a worthy replacement. TSM has roped in Snip3down for its competitive Apex roster.

TSM Albralelie calls it a day in competitive Apex Legends
In a Twitlonger post, the pro explained the reason for his retirement decision and thanked his organization, teammates, and fans. Albralelie’s decision to pursue a future in Valorant might dismay some fans. Ultimately, it’s a choice he made for the sake of his happiness.
“I am far too anxious about the future of Apex to feel comfortable staying in the scene. I’ve voiced my opinions on this on stream a few times about how Apex feels like a sinking ship to me, and well, its time for me to get off before I sink with it.”
This might not be a forever goodbye, but for now It's time to explore different options for the sake of my happiness.

Addressing an apology to fans, he said, “These past few months I’ve been in a low spot because of how I feel about the game, and I know many of you saw that it shaped how I behaved on stream and made me toxic at times and unfun to watch and for that I’m sorry.”
Mac expressed his devotion to those who still choose to support him, irrespective of whichever game he transitions into. He is grateful to have met his teammates and friends in the Apex community and hopes their paths cross again.

The Apex pro thanked TeamSoloMid for giving him an opportunity that changed his life. “It’s insane to me that I went from a teenager just sitting in my room playing games to avoid my problems, to winning tournaments at X-games, to Poland and going to California for Twitch con.”
His fans and teammates have wished him luck for his future endeavors in Valorant.
