The progression of Apex Legends into its sixth season brought a variety of exciting features and changes. It’s only been a month since the new season kicked off, but players got the chance to experience the first mid-season event recently. These events have become a salient feature of Apex Legends as fans keep longing for more.
Earlier this month, Respawn initiated September Soiree, which will bring a different limited-time mode every week, until October 5. The intention is to entertain fans by re-introducing some of the classic LTMs in Apex Legends. Starting today, September Soiree has entered its third week, and Respawn has announced another LTM for it.

In DUMMIE’s Big Day, instead of the legends, players have to pick a DUMMIE like the ones found at the Firing Range. In this mode, all players will have a set of similar abilities. While the tactical ability drops random loot, the passive ability is somewhat obscure. Meanwhile, the ultimate can have varying effects. Due to similar abilities, a player’s gun skills and strategic positioning will matter more.

September Soiree had initially kicked off with DUMMIE’s Big Day. However, Respawn took the game mode out of rotation shortly after it had gone live. The devs discovered a troublesome bug that had caused server crashes whenever a player went AFK on the character select screen.
The team acted quickly to substitute the mode with Kings Canyon After Dark so that players wouldn’t miss out on the action. The devs then replaced this nighttime Kings Canyon map with the Armed and Dangerous mode last week.

The final week of September Soiree is expected to feature LIVE. DIE. LIVE. This mode changes the process of reviving teammates in the game. Fallen players will respawn automatically near their teammates when the ring moves in every round, instead of having to access a respawn beacon.
A lot more action is coming to Apex Legends in the coming weeks, but for now, jumping in as a DUMMIE remains a priority.
