In her launch trailer, Loba ends up doing substantial damage to an area in Kings Landing after a failed attempt to destroy Revenant’s preserved conscious head. Due to this, Skulltown and Thunderdome have fallen. Salvage has been added as a new POI. The Offshore Rig connects Wetlands and Relay. Excavation of the Capacitor replaces Wetlands and adds a new underground pathway to Singh Labs. Some other map changes have taken place, but these are the significant ones.
Moreover, Charge Towers have also been added. Activating these new devices charges the Ultimate of legends standing on the platform instantly.

The first-ever Season Quest named The Broken Ghost has been added to Apex Legends. Players need to collect Treasure Packs to go on PvE Weekly Hunts to collect 9 pieces of a relic. New Rewards, Story, and Gameplay, generate along the way. Get a complete understanding of the Season Quest here.
Additionally, the creation of a Season Tab sees all seasonal content shifting there. Here, you can find the Battle Pass, Quest, and Challenges tabs, including future events in this season.
The brand new Season 5 Battle Pass adds fresh Daily and Weekly challenges. Players have over 100 exclusive items to unlock. Some of these include exclusive Legendary skins, gun charms, skydive emotes, Apex Packs, XP Boosts, load screens, etc.
Season 5 also brings a new Ranked Series. Although the format is the same, it has a new key feature, Reconnect.
Players that leave a match unexpectedly can now rejoin their match in progress. To reconnect, players simply need to restart the game and enter the lobby. The feature will be available for all competitive modes. However, there are certain rules and conditions. You can read its full description in the patch notes provided by Electronic Arts.
Conditional Legend Chatter
Under certain pairings, Legends will speak to each other differently when prompted with typical dialogue cues. For example, Loba does not thank Revenant for a revive. There are many pairings. To see the full extent of the chatters, you’ll need to drop in and experiment!
Mirage rework, buffs and tweaks for other Legends
The rework for Mirage adds more depth to his gameplay. The trickster has learned a few new tricks to bamboozle his enemies in Season 5 and beyond.
Here’s the Mirage rework we’ve all been waiting for:
- Tactical: Psyche Out
- Pressing the character utility action button allows Mirage to gain control of his decoy.
- When controlling the decoy, it will mimic Mirage’s every move.
- Decoys now last for 60 seconds.
- Releasing another decoy will remove the previous decoy.
- Ultimate: Life of the Party
- Mirage deploys a team of decoys that mimic his every move
- Cooldown 60 seconds.
- Passive: Now You See Me…
- In addition to cloaking when downed, Mirage also cloaks while using a respawn beacon and reviving a teammate (the teammate is also cloaked).
- Mirage’s “You got Bamboozled” line will now trigger when you bamboozle an enemy, instead of when you release a decoy.
Bloodhound, Crypto, Lifeline, Caustic, Octane received a slight buff. Meanwhile, Gibraltar and Pathfinder have been nerfed slightly.
