Apex Legends Season 5 has been going pretty smoothly so far. Except for a few minor issues during the Lost Treasures event, the game has seen a good change. However, the same cannot be said for all the Legends, equally. No doubt, the new season brought in a new Legend, but somehow characters still feel a little unbalanced.

We have seen quick responses from devs with a lot of communication, which is a great sign. Apex’s design director, Jason McCord, took to Twitter to explain what exactly went wrong with Loba malfunctioning on World’s Edge. Apex Legends is certainly trying to make things better, even when it comes to the issue with Skill Based Match Making.

Recently, CLG NiceWigg, a professional Apex Legends player, spoke about changes he feels are necessary. Most of them were related to the specific Legend nerfs and buffs. Legends like Caustic, Octane, Pathfinder definitely fit that list.

Pro player suggests necessary changes in Apex Legends

According to NiceWigg, Pathfinder definitely needs a buff. Recently, in the gameplay uploaded on Youtube, he was quite frosty and hungry for action. “The squad was able to catch a collective 8000+ damage and 21 kills in this game, and I was one-clipping everything in sight!” We saw him playing with Pathfinder, and he was pointing out a lot of tweaks that the developers need to work on.

“Honestly, I missed ranked games,” to which his teammate replied, the tighter it is, the better. Just a few hours later, he took to Twitter with a tweak list for Legends.

Octane, Bangalore, Revenant need a major tweak

Let this be known this ain’t no complaining!!! These just suggestions and I fuck with Apex right now. However….. I’d be lying if I said I didn’t want to take revenant 1v1 in a boxing match and show him what the power of anime/pre workout can do baby.”

Lifeline seems to be doing fine since the last tweak. However, Octane and Revenant are two characters who do need a top-to-bottom rework. Octane’s stim along with the jump pad gives a huge speed boost. On the other hand, Revenant as a character needs a top to bottom revamp as players keep complaining about everything but his ultimate.

All in all, the bugs which surfaced during the Limited-Time Event were dealt with. However, it exposed certain flaws too. Hopefully, the devs will consider this opinion and come out with a bit of patch work for at least some of these Legends.
