Data miners had examined the game files and predicted the Aftermarket event to hit the servers initially in mid-September.

Aftermarket event to arrive next week
The credible data miner recently posted a tweet saying the recent server data suggests the Aftermarket event will arrive on October 6. Shrugtal added that fans can expect Respawn to drop an official announcement or trailer for the upcoming event soon.
I'm expecting a announcement / blog / trailer tomorrow.
Please don't ask me about crossplay / switch / steam / etc, I don't have access to the patch notes before they come out >.<https://t.co/zHJ31dEOmp

A wide range of cosmetic items, including legend and weapon skins, will be up for grabs in the store. According to Shrugtal, legendary skins for Octane and Gibraltar are two such items. In comparison, Gibraltar’s skin looks like “a truck with hotrod flames”, a convenient description of Octane’s skin would be “Daft Punk x Cyberpunk”.
Gibraltar is getting a legendary skin in Aftermarket, it looks like a truck with hotrod flames and has him wearing sunglasses.
You'll be seeing them soon enough, so I don't see any reason to put any images out, I'll leave it up to the imagination 😛

Octane is also getting a legendary skin in Aftermarket. I think the best way to describe it would be Daft Punk x Cyberpunk.
