It has been a rocky year for Valve’s FPS Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. Not only has there been a transition in competitive tournaments, several pros too, have made a switch to Valorant.
According to recent reports, yet another CS: GO professional might make a move to the Riot Games’ shooter. Reports have emanated suggesting Ninjas in Pyjamas is looking to recruit Kevin ‘Ex6tenZ’ Droolans for its Valorant team.
The Belgian professional bid a farewell to the competitive scene earlier this year. Since then, he has been interested in a coaching role, having played as an in-game leader for several years. However, reports have surfaced that he is looking for a change and Valorant might be his ultimate destination.

This is primarily because the Riot Games’ shooter has been on the rise since its inception. Many have even dubbed it as one of the finest FPS’s to have come out in a long time.
Kevin ‘Ex6tenZ’ Droolans might be on his way to NiP’s Valorant roster
Droolans has had a vibrant CS: GO career. He cemented himself as a player to watch out for, becoming a household name and playing for several eminent teams across the competitive board.
The former G2 Esports pro has served as an IGL for several years. Unsurprisingly, many teams showed interest in bringing him into their fold even after he had retired.
The Belgian immediately expressed his desire to work as a coach in order to make the most of his analytical style of play. However, if the recent reports are to be believed, he might be looking at a complete shift with a move to Valorant.

NiP over the last few weeks have announced several changes to their active roster. The organization has dropped both Niels ‘luckeRR’ Jasiek and Saif ‘Sayf’ Jibraeel. Kevin’s arrival will round off NiP’s roster and give the organization the strength it needs for subsequent tournaments.
The Belgian has had a bittersweet relationship with NiP. Throughout his illustrious career, NiP has handed several defeats to the popular IGL, so it will be pretty interesting to see Kevin pursue a team with which he has had such an intense rivalry.
