Time Traveling to visit more Islands with Kapp’n in Animal Crossing: New Horizons
One of the biggest additions in Update 2.0 has to be Kapp’n and his boat rides. For a thousand Nook Mile Tickets, players can explore tons of mysterious Islands. However, many of them have noticed that they aren’t really finding a lot of different mysterious Islands when they take the trip. This is because these players haven’t played the game long enough.
For example, if players want to visit the mysterious Winter Island which contains Snowflakes, they would need to have played the game during the Winter. So players who may have recently started this Summer won’t get to see it. Other Islands will be locked as well if players haven’t played Animal Crossing: New Horizons during a certain time period. In order for them to unlock it, they will have to wait till those seasons arrive. However, they can make their life easier by time traveling to these seasons.
Summoning Spirits in rooms
Players can also find some spooky Easter Eggs inside their rooms by having a particular wallpaper and floor combinations. The combination of Candles Wall and the Magic-Circle Flooring look quite ominous. However, when players turn off the lights in the room, all the candles on the wall lit up, and the floor looks like a summoning circle for spirits. However, that’s not the only spooky wall fans can find in their Animal Crossing: New Horizons room.

With the Graveyard Wall, players can also notice a rather small spooky spirit near one of the headstones on the wall whenever they turn off the lights. However, that’s not its only trick. If players turn the lights on and off multiple times, the spirit grows in size and comes closer and until it reaches it stands in front of all the headstones. However, players shouldn’t worry as it doesn’t hurt anyone except for the slight scare it provides.
Halloween may have gone, but the spookiness doesn’t stop there. Fans know about polishing items in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. They can change the polishing effect from Sparkleblast to Dripdrop and many more. However, they can also add custom designs to the effect as it acts as a base. This allows them to add mini butterflies and insects that fly around the tree, thanks to the Flutterflap effect.
