Animal Crossing: New Horizons Direct received a lot of love from the community. Nintendo revealed a bunch of information for the 2.0 update, which is going to be game-changing. Furthermore, players will also see 18 new villagers arriving on their island with the amiibo series 5.
In addition to that, we will see several quality of life updates which will enhance users’ experience significantly. Developers will even introduce new items that players can use to decorate their island. Surprisingly, Nintendo also introduced a Happy Home Paradise, a paid DLC package for New Horizons.

All new upcoming items in Animal Crossing: New Horizons
Happy Home Paradise paid DLC
Interestingly, players can work for Lottie by designing and building clients’ dream vacation homes with the Happy Home Paradise paid DLC. They will be working for Lottie’s Paradise Planning business, where they have to design more homes. During the 10 minutes presentation, we could even see new theme islands including a Safari island.
Moreover, the new trees perfectly match the Safari theme and hopefully, we will see more bizarre creations from creators. We will also see villagers working on the buildings placed by players with tons of items. In one of the screenshots, players can notice a schoolroom filled with several items. The rooms contain fluffy animal toys, picture frames, a cards tower, a stack of board games, and much more.
Surprisingly, we will also see a new cafe at the Happy Home Designer with a bunch of exquisite items. It contains a harvest basket, clippable dangles, a tower of torts filled with several pastries, and a white basket.
Nook Miles items coming to Animal Crossing: New Horizons
Players will be able to redeem a bunch of items through Nook Miles after the 2.0 update. One of the items that will definitely catch a lot of attention is the Plaza ferris wheel for 6,000 Nook Miles. In addition to that, we will also have a Park fountain, a Plaza game stand, and much more.
Nintendo is introducing a bunch of items for players to redeem through Nook Miles Tickets. Thus, it would be best to save a bunch of tickets before the 2.0 patch launches.
More decorative indoor items
Nintendo will promote players decorating their inside houses more in the 2.0 update. We will see tons of new items for players to claim through Nook Miles and Nook’s Cranny. Developers will introduce new tables, couches, lamps, chairs, ladder, TV, TV stand, and much more.

Furthermore, players can also buy Pro Decorating Licence, which will help them hang ceiling decorating items in the house. Players will also get nine different types of fences, including Park fencing, Block fencing, Corrugated iron fencing, Large lattice fencing, Log-wall fencing, Bamboo-slats fencing, Green Bamboo fencing, Log fencing, and Frozen fencing.
