Among those features, players mostly have mixed opinions about another newly introduced feature, ‘Villager Hunting’. The major reason behind users’ anger towards this feature is how time-consuming it is. However, it looks like some users also have mixed opinions. Let’s hear about the Villager Hunting feature.

Is the most tiring Animal Crossing: New Horizons feature also the most loved feature among fans?

Villagers have always been the most loved addition and feature of the Animal Crossing series. Furthermore, several players love to interact with their residents on a daily basis. In New Horizons, Nintendo allows players to have 10 island residents in the game. However, inviting villagers to New Horizons is quite different from its predecessors.

Interestingly, in order to invite residents to islands in ACNH, players have to travel across different random mystery islands in search of them. Although it doesn’t sound as tiring, it takes players hours, days, or even months sometimes for them to find the desired villagers. Since the possibility of mystery islands is always random, it indeed becomes one of the most hardworking features in the game.

However, all these grinds and hours of hard work also make it the most loving feature in the game. After players get their hands on their favorite villagers, they are able to become closer to them. Furthermore, Villager Hunting was one of the features which kept players challenged and motivated them to keep playing for several hours.
