How to collect all 2.0 update items easily in Animal Crossing: New Horizons
Unfortunately, players who don’t have Nintendo Online might be in a tough spot. The items are not limited to Nintendo Online but they will miss the trading feature, which is one of the best ways to collect new items fast.
The same is with the expansion pack, Happy Home Paradise. Although new items are not locked to Happy Home Paradise, you can get tons of them at Paradise Island. For example, you can collect tons of vines and glowing moss at Paradise HQ, and not wait for weeks to get the vines island from Kapp’n tour.

The other way to get new items is to daily visit and check Nook’s Cranny. You can purchase new items at the store if you get lucky and always make sure to check the cabinet at the store. If you have enough bells, then purchase every new item you see at the store.
Other than that, you can also visit Residents Services and check the Special Goods section in the Nook Stop. While you are at the Nook Stop, also look through the Nook Miles items. These items may cost you a lot of tickets but are worth your investment.
Not to mention, players can collect new items from Harv’s Plaza. Harv’s Plaza is a new place at Harv’s Island introduced in the 2.0 update where wandering salesmen (popular characters from past titles) set up their shop. Buying all the items from several shops might take you a lot of time, but it’s one of the easiest ways to collect them.
