Animal Crossing: New Horizons Direct motivated a lot of players to login back to the game. Nintendo will launch the 2.0 update for New Horizons in November and it will be the last free update of the game. Players who were frustrated with the lack of in-game content are now not able to resist themselves to explore the island after the update.
Furthermore, Nintendo will also launch a paid DLC, Happy Home Paradise, for users to enjoy in New Horizons. After a reference from Tom Nook, players can work for Lottie by designing and building clients’ dream vacation homes. Not to mention we will also see many new features limited to Happy Home Paradise after the 2.0 update.

Top features arriving in Animal Crossing: New Horizons Happy Home DLC
Designing Houses
Players will have to design new houses as vacation cottages for other villagers to stay. Although the design concept looks very cool, it appears to be quite limited. During the trailer, we can see houses with one room and small property only.
This might change with the release of the DLC; however, until now we can presume that players might have to limit their creativity to some point.
Poki currency and Rare items in Animal Crossing: New Horizons DLC
Nintendo will introduce a new special currency in Happy Home Paradise expansion called Poki. Poki will work similar to Bells. The only difference is you will receive payment with Poki instead of Bells from the Paradise Planning Team.
For now, we don’t know whether we can exchange Poki currency for Bells. Nintendo mentioned we can buy amazing new items that will be harder to find on players’ actual islands. However, if these new items become limited to Poki, then this feature will play a more important role than expected.

New designing features
Nintendo will also offer amazing features for players to design vacation homes. They will experience features like Partition walls, Counters, Pillars, and Celling furniture that will change the interior decorating mechanics of the game.
These new features will help players to challenge themselves and create more bizarre creations. On top of that, designing clients’ dream vacation homes looks like a very fun feature. What are your current plans for Happy Home Paradise paid DLC? Let us know in the comments down below.
