The beginning of November brings around Fall to the Northern Hemisphere. Trees are shedding leaves and gearing up for Winter and so is Animal Crossing: New Horizons. Therefore, to fit the theme, Nintendo updated the game a little while ago.
We have already touched upon the update introducing mushrooms to the island. Players can use these mushrooms to craft various DIY items. These include a bunch of decor items like furniture and wallpapers. However, this wasn’t the only new addition to add to the fall theme.

Here’s what more fans can find on their island over the next month.
Maple leaves and much more in Animal Crossing New Horizons
Players can now catch a few new items, including blowfish that they can pull out with a fishing rod, a damselfly that can be caught using a net, and probably a spider as well. The new fish comes with its own joke, as we’ve grown accustomed to. Moreover, players can find mushrooms growing around trees every day. Every once in a while they might also come across rare mushrooms.

Players can use those leaves to craft DIY items, including a ‘maple leaf pochette’. They will need 6 maple leaves to make one. There will be many more items coming up and all one needs is the recipe.
The event is only going to last till the 31st of November. Therefore, players need to start grinding and get these exclusive items before the season ends. The event is currently only available in the Northern Hemisphere. It will be available to players in the Southern Hemisphere in March.
