Animal Crossing: New Horizons is one of the biggest games on the Nintendo Switch. However, 2021 has been quite rough for New Horizons because developers are only adding events from last year. Nintendo also shattered all players’ hope this year at the E3 presentation.

Fortunately, it seems that the current state of ACNH will change, following the recent Nintendo Direct. Nintendo has finally decided to listen to players’ demands as a big update is set to launch in November. Furthermore, Nintendo announced an entire ACNH Direct in October which definitely holds the potential to change everything players despise in the game.

How Animal Crossing: New Horizons Direct will change everything

Nintendo doesn’t announce Direct for any small announcements; therefore, if we are seeing a special ACNH Direct, it means we can expect something big from developers. Moreover, developers announced the arrival of Brewster and the Roost in the recent Nintendo Direct event, and players are very excited about Brewster working in the museum again.

Although Brewster will motivate a lot of players to log back into the game, his arrival won’t be enough to make them stay longer. They will log in to upgrade the museum and will be over the moon to see the Roost. However, as the days pass by, Brewster will experience the same fate as Isabelle. This means that Brewster’s arrival alone won’t be enough to make up for the lack of in-game content this year.

On the bright side, we know that Nintendo will organize ACNH Direct in October. This means developers have planned something big for the game. Usually, the Direct’s duration is over 10 to 20 minutes; thus, there’s a possibility that Nintendo might release a bunch of content that the developer’s team might be working on. The upcoming update could be like the Welcome Amiibo update for New Leaf, which still holds a deep spot in many veterans’ hearts.
