Animal Crossing: New Horizons is the most popular title in the series. Furthermore, Nintendo is also planning to earn huge profits from the paid DLC, Happy Home Paradise. In addition to that, developers have uplifted the community’s mood through the recent 2.0 update.

The update launched tons of content for players to enjoy. One of the new features that many users are getting fond of is cooking. They can now grow crops like sugarcane, tomatoes, carrots, wheat, and much more. They can also combine these ingredients to create dishes that can be eaten, gifted, or displayed.

Nintendo adds new turnip recipe in Animal Crossing: New Horizons

The only way to get turnips in New Horizons is by purchasing them from Daisy Mae. Daisy Mae will only be on your island in the morning on Sunday. You can buy turnips for around 90 to 100 Bells from him. Furthermore, you can receive a huge amount of profit by selling them to Timmy and Tommy at a higher price.

Watch if your friends get a better offer, then take advantage of that. Until the 2.0 update was released, the only reason users used to collect turnips was to sell them at a higher. However, Nintendo introduced a new turnip recipe for players that requires turnip as a cooking item.

The item is called Kabu Ankake and requires 10 turnips to be cooked. Since the only source to get turnips is to buy them from Daisy Mae, make sure to keep an eye on him next Sunday. There are a total of 141 Cooking Recipes in New Horizons and is very exciting to see how developers are trying to increase the turnip’s lost popularity in the game.

Unfortunately, the 2.0 update will be the last update for ACNH. Therefore, it would be best if you try to take your time and experience every new content in the game slowly. If you want to keep playing New Horizons for a long time, you should think of buying the expansion pack for $24.99. What are your thoughts on the new cooking feature?
