Nintendo has introduced two types of mystery tour islands: one is normal islands, and the other is rare islands. Furthermore, someone also found the Cherry Blossom island and you can even find seasonal DIY on all these islands. There are two Autumn theme islands. One consists of maple leaves, whereas the other contains mushrooms. There is another rare island called Star fragment island.

As the name suggests, players can collect various star fragments by hitting the rock on such islands. Moreover, you can wish upon shooting stars with the help of these fragments. Interestingly, the only requirement to unlock such rare islands is how much longer you have been playing New Horizons.

If you are playing the game for almost a year now, then you don’t have to worry; however, beginners might have to play ACNH for a long time to unlock them. Although all the rare islands are amazing, they are randomly selected. Thus, you have to be extremely lucky to get to see any of them even once.
