Basics of warp pipes in Animal Crossing New Horizons

The warp pipes in ACNH follow the same procedure as in Mario’s universe. Basically, whenever you jump into a warp pipe, it lets you teleport to the other end. However, if you have multiple pipes placed in your island, you will randomly teleport to any warp pipe located in your island.

Even though you can buy as many pipes as you want from Nook Stop, it would be best to to buy only two pipes as they will teleport you to the other end without making you worried. You can order about five warp pipes daily from the shop and they will be delivered it to you the next day.

Just remember, two warp Pipes are a necessity to avail the most of the teleporting feature. You can even gift warp pipes to the villagers if you want to in the game.

Customization option and maximum limit for warp pipes

A lot of players were wondering whether they can customize their warp pipes. Sadly players can’t customize their warp pipes to any color they desire like red, blue or anything else. Furthermore, there’s no maximum limit to place pipes in your islands. The only condition is to have a flat surface to put infinity number of warp pipes.

Loading screen and island swapping

Warp pipes come with an amazing feature to teleport anywhere on the island with minimum efforts. However, everything comes with the cost as it takes a lot of time to load screen when swapping places through pipes. Moreover, there’s a difference when you use warp pipe from the inside of your house as compared to warping from outside.

When you warp from inside of a house it takes approximately 12 seconds to load the screens, but it takes half of it when you warp from outside. A lot of users were also wondering if they can visit other players’ islands with the help of warp pipes. The answer to this is absolutely no, as there’s no way that Nintendo can program can program such a feature at this moment.

Indeed, it could be very amazing to have this feature in the game, but for now it’s only a dream. Regardless, when you will visit other players’ islands, you can get access to their warp pipes. Therefore, you will be able to enjoy warp pipes services in other players’ islands as well.
