Some of the frozen DIYs require regular size snowflakes while others require large size snowflakes. It means you have to collect snowflakes other than from Snowboy in New Horizons. You can catch regular snowflakes floating in the air with the help of a net. Moreover, you have to catch them with good accuracy, as if you fail to catch them in one or two tries or walk into them, they will instantly disappear.

However, you don’t have to worry if you miss a few of them, as you will find tons of them floating around the island. Furthermore, if you plan to go on a snowflake hunt, always make sure you carry an extra net with you. It’s because too many uses of a single net can break the net; therefore, a backup plan always comes in handy.

Interestingly, you can only collect large snowflakes from Snowboy. You first need to locate the two snowballs and kick the Snowball 13 times to make it larger. Then, roll the second snowball into the larger snowball. If you do it perfectly, you will earn amazing rewards.
